Name: Riven
Age: Male
Sex/Gender: Male
Pack: Dark/Neutral/Light
Mate: None, though he might consider one in the future.
Personality: Riven would gladly stand up for his friends and risk his life, but then again, there was the possibility that he would never again see daylight. He is generally torn between a triple personality thing, and each one jumps out unexpectedly. Generally, he his layed back, funny, and could give not one care about anything. Then, there was his snappish, short-tempered side the generally sends wolves away whenever close to a friendship. And then, of course, what would he be without his emotional, easily depressed side? His mood swings are completely random, so one moment he could be playing a prank one someone, and the next, breaking down with complaints about why the Earth is green.
Description: Like most wolves, his coat is thick for the chilly winter climates, but thins out in the summer to keep himself from getting too warm. The undercoat is a snowy white, covering his whole body. His overcoat is a medium grey while lightly tipped in black, making his muzzle dark and his pelt shine. He has an average build, strong muscles and swift legs, long tail. His eyes are molten gold, seemingly able to burn through you into confessing if he looks long enough.
History: He was born a lone wolf with the parents of Striven, his father, and Melocity, his mother. He lived his life happily for the first year of his life along side his two brothers, Kaju and Snike, and his sister, Minch. They wre free of everything and could live happily as a family should without rules or restraints that came with being in a Clan.
But that was before the Yin wolves.
Riven and his siblings had been playing a simple game of tag, having never really grown out of their pup-like personalities. They strayed too close to the boarder of the Yin Clan and Minch crossed over, having been tagged, or more shoved, by Snike. No more had her paws hit the ground than the wolf was on her. The wolf reaked of Yin Clan, sending shudders down Riven's spine. He watched in horror as the wolf tore his sister apart, her cries continuing to echo through his mind to this day. He turned tail and ran, hoping the wolf wouldn't find him and come after. His gold eyes glanced back and he spotted Kaju and Snike scrambling after him.
They were close to where their parents were, a clearing in which they spent their nights lately. "Mother!" Riven cried, skidding a stop infront of her. "Minch.. we got too close. A Yin member.. got her. I didn't mean it, it was my fault. I got them her to play tag so close to the border."
Melocity's horror struck expression was so sudden, unexpected, that he nearly cringed at it. "I'm sorry," he whimpered, pulling his tail up between his legs. "I really am."
The memory of this haunts Riven to this day, as he could never forget what happened. His mother later died of grief and his father left along with Kaju and Snike. He had no idea where they went, but stayed behind. He came upon the Clan of Cyprio and soon made this his home.
Many suspect that the reason for his triple personalities is because of what happened - his sister's death, and he continues to blame himself, his mother dying of grief and the rest of his known kin leaving him.
